You have to get Retainer Ring pliers. I got some from Harbor Freight but they were still a little to big. Nothing a grinder couldn't fix though.
Foo-ie. I had the same problem. I went to Harbor freight and they had quite a selection but none small enough to work. The problem with the ones they had was that they dont 'slip' like scisorrs. THey just come together and thats it. I thought about taking a dremel to it but i figured if i'm going to pay for it, it should do the job out the box. Either way i heard that Sears have a pair that is just right so i'll hit them up tomorrow. Until then my car is in pieces :-(
