You heard wrong. The Pro 4 is excellent on foams, as any touring would be. It's just a matter of set-up. If, you need a starting set-up, just ask.

Here ya' go:

*Stock chassis & top deck*

-Springs: 25 lbs. - Front & Rear
-Shock oil: 35 wt. Trinity
-Pistons: #3 (stock)
-shock bladder: firm (stock)
-Shock positions:
front: tower / arm - #3 / inside hole
rear: tower / arm - #2 middle hole
-Ackermann:
steering plate / steering knuckle
stock postion / position #2
- camber link positions:
Front / Rear
standard standard
spacers under inside link:
Front / Rear
2mm / 3mm
-pivot block:
Front / Rear
3.0 / 2.5
pivot block spacers:
Front / Rear
(under front forward block only) .5mm / none
-Droop:
Front / Rear
3 / 3
Toe:
Front: out - 1 degree
Tires:
Front / Rear
Cyan - 50/35 shore / Magenta - 35 shore

*Use harder shores (plaid 50/40 shore & purple 40 shore) in warmer weather.

Note: This is a fast set-up. I used a 12t double, on a big track (150 x 85). If, the sterring is too agressive, use heavier oil, a stiffer spring, less droop and a harder tire up front.

Also: Camber: neg. 2mm - front & rear
Ride Height: 5mm - Front & rear
Caster Block: 0 degree
