Running a few associated cars and was looking at reducing my rebuild costs.

Has anyone hear bought bearing balls in mass quantities to reduce rebuild costs?

Was thinking of ordering 1/16" balls for the trust bearing as the 5/64's are not as readily available in ceramic. Maybe I can fit one or two more balls in as well. May just purchase a caged thrust bearing and then it should last the life of the vehicle right?
