I've ran both on my .3. 1900kv with an 18t, and 2100kv on a 17t. If the track is fast and flows well, the 2100 will shine. If it is tight and technical, the 1900kv will shine.
That being said, I didn't really have a preference, but ended up running the 1900kv everyplace on 18t, and if a really large fast track, I'd slap a 19t on it. (pinion change quicker than motor swap) Basically because I liked the 2100kv better in my truggy. (Both
