This is the "handout" version adopted in some clubs for stock racing.

This is just to get a feel for the motor before I head out for the track with it (gearing suggested in the manual seems way off for my track, but who knows what the manual means by "large" track?).
This year's TITC at RC Infinity track, Bangkok Thailand, for 17.5T non boosted class, this was one of the blinky ESCs that were allowed for the class and which I have used. We geared our 17.5 V10 G2 at 3.1-3.0 FDR as per advice of HW support. Track was huge, outdoor and asphalt. We used 2 fans for the motor though and the fan that came with the ESC.
