I just got a Mach 3 and wonder if I'll have to make a similar "adjustment". Timing should be timing...I shouldn't have to compensate for a manufacturer building-in an error.
I suspect it has been that way the whole time, judging by all the comments I read that the motor runs way hotter than the previous model at the same timing.
