While we are talking about drivetrain, I noticed the idler gear in the new 3-gear setup appears to be plastic. If so, very little if any grease will be needed on these as was necessary on the metal <--> metal mesh of the 2-gear. Easier maintenance and perhaps even quieter. Although mine have never been real noisy some others have mentioned it here before.
