First - I'm setup for 3-gear mid-ship; if that's what you're doing, then we might be on the same page.
Looking at my "waterfall", I see 3 connection points. There are the posts that mount to the chassis; there's the connection to the tranny; finally, the two points for the battery strap's rear catch plate.
I don't see anything on the part that I would describe as a nub or nubs. I guess he could be referring to flashing?
