The hps2 silva shock built correctly does not stick.build with 10% extension,absolutely no trapped air. it may take a few tries to get right but they do work well.
Yes they do use the an O-Ring like everyone else, but the o-ring is too big for the shock body and is too tight on the shock shaft. I have also built a lot of shocks. Nobody in on-road uses them for this reason.
