Picked up the Hobby Action battery brace and tried it out yesterday with a turnbuckle installed instead of the waterfall. I could actually feel a difference, mostly in off-camber cornering where with the waterfall I felt "tippy", but with the turnbuckle (w/o waterfall), I felt like the car was able to flex slightly and stay more flat and connected to the track. This was on medium/high traction indoor clay (
track.speedrc.com). Definitely something to try as a tuning aid.
