After having issues with my diffs and the plastic gears, I would have to say that's good advice Mike. I rebuilt my diff for my 12.5/21.5 car with he metal gears and in order to get it to not be completely bound up, I had to add a second gasket. I think something is whrong with the diff case though. It was bound up(though not as bad) even with the palstic gears.
The diff in my TA07 is butter smooth from the get go, but these Evo diffs have been a fight from day one to get to work right. Hmmm maybe another Exotek upgrade opportunity???
Mike if you want some durability testing for your aluminum gearboxes, I would be happy regardless help. I hit the boards so often, you'd think I was durability testing them.
