If you are racing stock you want to charge you batteries with a balancer and should charge it to 8.4Volt. As your peak performence will be at 8.4V and a cool motor, you should get your fastest laps the first 2 or 3 laps and then it will heat up and loose some speed.

Yep, nanotech ultimate are consistently good and with low ir. On to 4th pack myself.
