The t3 soft bumper is 6 grams
A lot of weight diffrence ,my experience owith 17.5 on carpet is that the car transition and corner faster on sharp turns with the soft bumber ...the way to go if u don't hit stuff but if u do like me it will save u from going to the pits to dial the tweak out of the car
