I'm just repeating stuff that was discussed between very well respected racers and organisers at the recent worlds. So basically people who should know what they are talking about, and are willing to put the theory to the test. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.
Should add the point there was little enthusiasm for going to motor limits and blinky modes as well... it's then just another stock class, with all of the associated issues with that.
Control tyres was another big discussion as already mentioned, interesting to see where it leads.
I ran the "spec" purple ring tires with 6.5 Blinky and thought it was really good
At our track , NORCAR, with the current layout it went 7.9 upfront and finished 8.0 The tires never gave out and were very consistent the entire run.
