figured it out. turns out earlier i broke a rear arm and replaced it. replaced it with the wrong side. undfortunately there is no way to know which is left or right but i noticed the lower shock mounting positions were not shaped concave up like they should have. instead it was shaped concave down, opposite of what the other arm looked like (which was not replaced).
I did wonder why the truck was not as "dialed" the last race and well.... found the answer.
