I have a really simple cleaning routine: blow loose debris off with a compressor, then clean with a paint brush and WD-40. Just spray a little WD-40 on the brush and go to it. It will pick up virtually all the dirt and leave your plastics black. The brush will fray pretty quickly, but if you get a black bristle brush from Purdy it will last much longer. In fact, I've used the same 1" brush for a year now (granted, I don't race every weekend.)

I got that method from the Short Course World YouTube channel. Ty Tessman's dad gave him the tip about using a black bristle brush instead of a regular cheap paint brush.
