Another Question: I run a used Airtronics Servo and it gets about 40°C/110°F after a complete run of 15mins. Is that normal?

I am thinking of swtiching the servo. Could go for a Thundertiger DS1015 (has different names, but all 1015 should be the same!). I run it in my SC5M and no complains. Or I am thinking of the spektrum 6040 - but I have never used one. You guys are all over the servo and say its the best bang for the buck. Here in germany both cost the same!

Any suggestions?
Yes, that motor plate will work just fine! It's just not milled.

For servos, the 1015 was always awesome for me! Ran them for years and never a failure in any car. Well worth the money!
The only other I could personally recommend from experience is the Reedy RT1508. I currently run these in all my cars. Very durable and perform great.
