Pan Chassis Assembly
Sorry to change the topic but I'm not only new to pan cars but new to forum discussions. I have a few questions regarding the assembly of my new VBC Lightning LM chassis:
1) In only one step of the assembly instructions does it indicate the use of thread lock; from my crawling and short course experience, I always used thread lock when securing aluminum components. Should I use thread lock to secure aluminum components on my carbon fiber chassis?
2) I've been reading about gearing for pan cars and have noted the recommendation for using 48 pitch gears; what should I consider when running 48 pitch gearing?
3) I'm running a 17.5 turn BL sensored motor; what gear ratios should I start with?
