that is not true. The newer shorty spectrum servos are by far a better servo then the past normal size spectrum servo's or say the common savox 1257 & 1258 servo's. Maybe the older ones werent as good but must servo's either shorty or normal both have aluminum gears now. For me I like having the extra room behind the servo.

the spectrum is not only smaller but is rated for more torque then the normal savox servos that alot of people
im not talking about the specs of the servo. im talking about the durability. shorty servos are typically not as durable as a nice beefy full sized servo. the gears and stuff are thinner and everything is made with less mass inside.
