Yes it does fit, however in the DT buggy they have changed the gear to 14 balls, not 12 and the gear is wider than the original Bmax2 gear

And it's a better diff for it, however mine till longer then usual to break in, using a captured thrust bearing, kept loosening up until Sunday when it magically stopped, didn't bark it, but it felt loose on the bench and on the dirt, so take your time and break it in properly.
