Here is my fix for the blown out suspension inserts. I cut small very thin brass shim stock to fit in the suspension holders. I held the shim in place with a old wrecked suspension insert, then I used my soldering iron and built up the area as shown with silver solder. Its about 1.5 to 2mm thick but gives it a good backer to prevent the pin and ball from punching thew the plastic insert.
I also encountered the inserts breaking out. I had 4 break over the first 2 weeks of testing the car. I found than my hinge pins were longer than what is allowed by the inserts so there is constant pressure on the inside of the inserts from the pins.
I shortened my hinge pins by 1MM and have not broken out any inserts since the mod.
