hi all , just finished my build of a xb4 16' well sort of i am stuck on the servo mount , i purchased the floating mount and the mounting holes are to wide for my servo so i tried the kit servo mounts and it also to wide for my standard servo 40mm wide , seems the floating mount and the chassis holes would accommodate a servo 44mm wide but i can't find a servo that wide.
am i missing something ?
I remember thinking this initially but the trick is to make sure the mounts that attach to the servo aren't right against the body of the servo. You can make sure the servo mounts stand off from the body of the servo before tightening the screws down by sticking a hobby knife against the servo to make sure it doesn't walk back in too far.
