Waterfall fan mount question: Anyone use these? Prime or Shapeways? Also, there are different sizes? Any tips on how much temps are down and weight addition much appreciated. Thanks!
I got a waterfall mount and use a finisher body. Just installed it recently and was bashing around in the street in 45 degree weather. Motor never got hotter than 75 degrees. I will be bringing it to the track in a few days to see how it works indoor and putting some actual stress on the motor.
I'm way under weight so it didn't bother me adding it as I would think the benefits outweigh the weight penalty. Planning on jumping up a gear or two on the pinion as well to see how it handles it.
