All of my stock B5Ms felt best between 1530 - 1550 grams. I was able to get one down to 1411 grams with a chassis liner and it never felt quite right but I was the only stock car that could hit our triple for an entire 5-7 minute race. One of the key tuning items I use is the battery. You can cut a load of weight just by using a light pack.
