Two things to check.
1. Ensure the bearing holders on the diff and spool, are sitting in their correctly.
2. On the front pulley, ensure you have attached the plate to the correct side of the pulley. (The side wth the dots around it) A quick way to check this is to look at the car upside down and ensure the pulley falls in the centre of the chassis cutout. If not, you know it's the wrong way around.
