I can use the 17.5 with my 7.5 as long as I keep and eye on it since it's all aluminum. I may just take the MIP out drives out and put standard in then I would really have to worry since I would be pretty much stock besides the MIP diff
Yes the 3rd hole is inboard tward the ourdrive.

And maybe......
My MIP ball diff didn't jive with the stock ball diff. Might have to replace the whole unit.
