I am not sure what you're saying. Moulded parts are cheaper to make, not better. Machining especially these days with CNC is a lot better (and always was the better manufacturing process where close tolerance is an imperative). It was just price that drove manufacturing to moulding, but not anymore.
I have a few HPI spurs but I don't think they're anything to talk about, really (like most moulded parts).
