I have done it on my B5M and T5M. Holding and flexing the chassis side to side is a noticeable difference. Having flex is good.
This pic is from Spencer Rivkin's FB page of his B5M, notice the middle sections of the cradle and nose piece have all been removed. This will give the lateral flex and additional room.
