Tweak was the reason that Xray made the front of their motor mount two separate pieces for the '15, with the '14, in a crash the mount could tweak, but it stayed tweaked, the extra join meant it would return to it's original position more easily.
Have thought about a one piece layshaft mount being better, but not actually sure if it would benefit. The mounts on the Xray do allow some movement up and down so they don't 'pinch' the layshaft bearings when the chassis flexes.
Which is why I said may :P, but I still believe a one piece mount is not the way forward, some people just seem to have this obsession about having a one piece mount, even if it is a really nice piece of machining on the Yokomo
