Anyone have a good setup for carpet? I've been running on turf with the kit setup, oils 35/30, pistons 1.6/1.7 Schmacher stagger blue front and spike yellow rear. Runs great, plenty of steering. Well I ran it on carpet for the first time last Sunday and it pushes really bad, no steering at all even when I turned the dual rate back to 100. Any ideas?
The front tire compound is too stiff IMO. I run the same tires in yellow front and back.
Here are a few things to try. Raise the rear roll center by using the -2mm setting on the inner camber mount. This will reduce rear traction and also help with traction rolling. Decreasing the wheelbase can give more steering. I also like a stiffer rear oil.
