I know people say that I find negative crap about most everything, which is true. But i will say that gluing up the JC clay smoothies was nice. The bead rested nicely on the wheel and didnt require pushing, prodding and extra hands like the proline or aka clay tires for 2.4/60mm. The sidewalls seem a little stiffer than the primes also. I did the AKA trick to glue the rear foams onto the wheel to reduce the "shifting" of the foam. Hoping this helps with sidewall tearing.
Well that's good to hear. We have been gluing inserts to the wheels for SCT and Truggy for years and it does work well. I have also done it with Smoothies and it does seem to help stabilize the tire and reduce ripping.
