The Y-max shines were the Yz2 may struggle when traction isn't optimal. My local rack also may run gold dirtwebs or even barflys however if the track is damp, slicks work very well also. However if the track is a little dry, the slicks don't work of course and this is where a stock Yz2 would struggle, and where the Y-max does well. The Y-max doesn't lose the pace when traction isn't ideal. Where the Yz2 must have really good traction to be on point.
