That's not droop, that's stroke length. If you want to measure shock stroke, you measure the length of the exposed shock shaft when it's pulled all the way out. (See picture from post above mine here)
Droop is difference in ride height between static sitting ride height, and how high the chassis is at the point the tires begin leave the ground.
