Yes I am running it on my B5M and have ran it in both stock and mod and I think it helps tremendously. It helps with side to side weight transfer while cornering. After you put it on and look at it compared to the stock one you can see how off center it really is. I think it is a must for the 3 gear. And remember it uses the new top shaft so if you have an old B5M and you want to run it in 4 gear you will need the new gearbox.
