The floating mount made my car more predictable, and consistent. It gave it a slight amount more steering (as it should). I had to turn my dual rate down 4% to make the equivalent steering as before. I was able to get hot lap after hot lap, and the car just felt great. It also gave the car a slight amount more exit steering.
The only person I know that has run it used at my local asphalt track and took it off as it killed his corner speed.
Don't know anyone that has tried it on carpet.
