Reason I ask is many esc have the bottom wrapped with a sticker, which servo tape has a hard time sticking to and coming from the basher side, it is an extra precaution to be able to zip tie or bolt the esc down, doubled with servo tape.

ESC are expensive.... even on the castle mm they rely on locking tab and their sticker to hold the two halves together, with just servo tape I have had the sticker and tabs release which exposed the cpu board and poof.

The Rc8.2e rtr had a big issue with esc releasing from chassis due to servo tape failure. it just sucks when you do not know your esc is bouncing around inside the chassis and then zzzt
