Hey guys, I had some heat issues on Sunday with my new Mbx7r eco.

After 10 minute main, motor temp was just over 220 degrees while RX8 was around 150 degrees. My battery was also temped at 125 degrees.

Setup - RX8 Gen2/1900 motor. 44/16 gearing, 43/13 front/rear. Current limiter at 40.

The car only had roughly 10 minutes of break-in time before Sunday. I was running the 15t pinion to start, but needed the 16t to get my car where i wanted it. The track required a lot of throttle and high speed. I drive aggressively and use the throttle to steer so I know I am spinning tires a lot.

I've run the Gen2/1900 in my tekno eb48.2 for 2 years and never had motor temps go over 200 degrees.

Would a 2050 motor benefit my situation and lower temps?
Would switching to 42/12 front/rear benefit my situation and lower temps?
