Racers have had luck running their MVP's with gear ratios from 6.0 all the way up to 10.0, as the motor wears in and the comm is cut the RPM's increase and the torque moves slightly up the RPM band. I know last weekend I ran my MVP in my Mission with a FDR of 9.11 and quite short foams, the rollout was 21mm!!!! and the car was as fast or faster than any other stock car on the track.....
