The white low friction belts are manufactured differently not only are they lower friction but they are also stronger.
Perhaps try less belt tension, the looser they are the longer they last provided they don't skip.

I already use Yokomo rear belt. I heard the oppsite about the white belt, but I might give it a try.
My belts are certainly not too tight, especially for mod. Have been racing mod for many years now, so tension is not a problem. I know when my belt will skip. And it will if it's too loose.
Are there no other brands available that make rubber belts? I have been searching a lot, but I can't imagine...
