I'm sure most already know this and are doing this but I had a little slop in the JC and Schelle steering rack. These shim sets are sweet for tightening up the lash between moving parts in basically the entire car. With the fresh front end I didn't need any but as the hinge points wear you can throw in a shim and tighten it up again. I added a .2 to the aluminum standoffs for the steering rack. .1 wasn't enough. .3 was just a shade snug. I added a .1 with the front axle spacers to make them butter smooth with zero endplay. They also fit in place of the rear antisquat shims.
