You have no reason to be concerned, I have the SCT Pro and 4000 kv motor. The motor has been through 3 different 4x4 Sc trucks and the Esc has been through an SCTE, then an EB48 on 4s, an OG SCT410 and now my 410.3. The motor comes off the track at 130-140f during the summer outdoors. I have never thermaled the ESC in any of the above applications. I also have Tekin but it sits in my box as spares just in case. For the record I have thermaled the RX8 and I've seen several Pro4 and Pro4 HD motors fail racing in the same races I run in.
