Hey Kevin...The chassis' will be offered in 3mm and 2mm. The first ones will be 3mm though.
The 3mm chassis set will sell for $129.99 Retail. The second holes are for the motorplate and yes, it helps the balance of the car. The servo also can be moved out for better balance and the servo can be turned sideways (check the pic)
