There really is no reason to run the wider hexes up front.
In my experience, the wider rear hexes really free the car up. Even 1/2 a mm makes a difference, the avid carbon pieces are work really well to try small adjustments.
If you are a on a low traction surface, stick with the stock hexes. The only time I could see using the wider hexes are high traction (and you need more rotation) or you need some extra stability on a really rough track.
The wider hexes do aid on power steering as well, but it might not be the best adjustment to get that, depending on the traction levels.
