It's not as stiff as the factory one, works great in a broader ranger of conditions. Another reason is that it's stupid light, great if you're keeping weight down if your track allows it.
I had heard that the 2 level chassis were prone to bending. Was told that the Chassis Avid makes for the Xray would be ideal for the BD7. But unfortunately the don't make one for the BD7 yet.
