Is there a way to lower the chassis more than simply fully loosening the shock collar?

I went to a carpet race and during a qual a fast guy picked it up and shouted up to me that it was way too high. On the table it was 98% slammed so I lowered it the rest of the way, but during the race I could see the chassis's being way lower than mine. What are people doing that is getting them so low?
