Endbell timing and ESC timing are both always present all the time in a brushless sensored motor. Maybe you want to know if senosrless timing is better than sensored timing, that is something that could be debated.
The esc timing can be phased in based on RMP, etc., thus the whole rpm doesn't have to be there all the time as in motor/endbell timing. This can result in a motor that doesn't get hot as quick, and as you know heat kills.
