I was thinking of getting a VBC D07 to go along with my D06, but maybe I should just get a R2 to go with my R1 and S1. I have quite a lot of spares already.
One thing that worries me a bit on the R2 is how the layshaft mount is screwd to the motor mount rather than being 1 piece. I'd definitely be using thread lock on those two screws and tightening them down good and tight.
