i dont know the exact mathimatical calculation, but download the pdf setup sheet and enter the data into the boxes and it will give you the number, if you are trying to match up a previous setup to the new evo 2 then make you you have the std spring box checked not the soft as you will get different results. when switching to the new evo 2 from the first one i played with the numbers ( top and bottom or A and B ) to get a good starting position, in relation to cf/mm
