Another Great weekend of Racing
I started my weekend off helping a Mother with repairing her son's Stampede transmission so he could make the 1st Qualifier. It was a good start to my day that I think help set the tone for the night.
TQ’ed for the Stock Buggy for the A-Main. Traffic and Track conditions were difficult thru-out the day. The A-Main saw me get passed by the second lap and on the 3rd lap a back marker ran into me and with a unfortunate marshaling put be back to the clutches of 3rd place battle. I fought back to retain the 2nd place position!
Qualifying 3rd place in the Stock SCT Class. Again anxiety of my past performances and starts had me on Edge. The first 2 turns sealed my fate… But this time going into the chicane I was in the lead!!! Unfortunately my truck was a little to loose at the start of the race and I wasn’t able to stay in the lead. I battled a few times with 3rd place but always retained the position. Great end to the race I was caught at the line by the buzzer finishing 2nd!
