Installing the U2252 spur gear adaptor to use industry standard spur gear means use 64p spur and pinion? Or industry standard spur gear are also sold in 48p?

Pick up Schumacher Pt# U2252, this will allow you to use industry standard spur gears, which will make gearing much easier.
